What Do You Think Of The New Charlestown Whole Foods?

Share your thoughts and see what your neighbors had to say about the grand opening.

There has been lots of talk about Whole Foods in the past nine months since Johnnie's Foodmaster closed and officials announced the new business would be moving into Charlestown.

Some worried about lost jobs, some about higher prices, others about whether Whole Foods would be a good fit for the neighborhood. Some were thrilled to hear about the coming market. Most couldn't wait until there was a local grocery store again.

At Charlestown Whole Foods' grand opening on Wednesday, Aug. 7, crowds of shoppers poured into the building, some to shop, some just to get a good look at the shiny new store. Some shared their initial thoughts with Patch, as seen in the video above.
