CNC Officials to Discuss Fresh Truck Mobile Market Proposal Thursday
The mobile food market is looking to return to Charlestown this year.
The Charlestown Neighborhood Council's Basic Services Committee will meet on Thursday with representatives from Fresh Truck to discuss a proposal to bring the mobile healthy food market to Charlestown.
Fresh Truck is a social business that will operate a retrofitted school bus as a mobile farmers market, serving Boston neighborhoods with fresh, affordable fruits and vegetables, according to its Facebook page.
At the meeting, officials will relay information regarding the proposed location for the Fresh Truck mobile market. The Fresh Truck also made stops in Charlestown last year.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Mishawum Community Room, 95 Dunstable St.
