Today, Roy Avellaneda, candidate for the 2nd Suffolk seat, announced his endorsement by 32BJ SEIU New England District 615.  This special election is to fill the seat recently vacated by State Rep. Eugene O’Flaherty (D-Chelsea) and will be held on Tuesday, March 4th.

“Roy brings new ideas to ensure that Massachusetts has a flourishing economy to benefit all its residents,” Roxana Rivera, Director of 32BJ SEIU New England District 615, which represents over 18,000 property service workers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. “Roy Avellaneda has been successful in fighting for working people because he takes the time to understand what’s going on in their daily lives. He is an advocate for immigrants and working families that will fight to put tax dollars to good use in creating good jobs and a strong economy. We are proud to support strong candidates like Roy who will make sure the voices of working people are heard.”
