Toddler Found Alone Outside Charlestown Home

The child reportedly wandered out the front door while his uncle was in another room.

A toddler found outside without an adult on Tuesday afternoon in Charlestown was soon reunited with his family.

According to police reports, the child was being watched by his uncle at the time, Boston Police Officer Robert Luongo said. When the man went into another room, the child walked out the front door, which was not locked or otherwise child-proofed.

A Twitter alert based on radio reports sent out by @alertnewengland around that time stated: "Found 3 year old in the Charlestown section of Boston, if anyone's missing one."
