Boston, Somerville PD Strike Corey Street Address

Notable incidents from the Charlestown police precinct for Aug. 13-17.

These reports were submitted from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Friday, Aug 17—Search warrant

About 11 p.m., detectives from the Boston Police Department assisted Somerville police in the execution of a search warrant on Corey Street. Seized from the home were several laptops, cameras, watches, and computer disk drives all reported stolen. The investigation is on going.

Monday, Aug 13—Warrant arrest

Officers in the area of Main Street placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding parole violation warrant.

Monday, Aug 13—Assault and battery

A Victim told police that, as a result of a fight on Starr King Court, he suffered a cut above his eye. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Victim also stated he knows who the suspect is; complaints may be sought in Charlestown court.

Tuesday, Aug. 14—Gunshot report

A concerned citizen on Medford Street states that, about 10 p.m., she heard what she thought were gunshots.  At this time no ballistic evidence , personal or property damage could be found.

Thursday, Aug. 16—Warrant Arrest

Officers in the area of Monument Street placed an individual under arrest for outstanding Stoughton and Wrentham court warrants.

Thursday, Aug. 16—Breaking and entering into a residence during the day

 Officers responded to Bunker Hill Street where they observed an open front door. Officers search the apt. But were unable to locate anyone. Officers were able to contact the victim who did state two laptops were stolen. Detectives were also informed that a suspect had been arrested in East Boston in possession of the two stolen computers. Investigation is ongoing.
