Letter: Thanks for Painting the Town!

Thank you to everyone that supported and participated in the Townie Association’s first campaign "Paint the Town: Red, White, & Blue" Thank you to all that cheered us on during the Parade! It was really exciting and we hope do it again next year.

Charlestown looked very festive and patriotic for the parade. The town was all American from its stores to the houses that decorated and the balloons along the parade route. What a wonderful atmosphere it was! What was even more amazing was to see people take pride in their town by donating their time to help make the parade route festive. The people of Charlestown truly painted the Town: Red, White, & Blue! Thank You!

Charlestown is the best neighborhood in Boston. Not only are its residents proud to be from Charlestown, proud of its history, but also we are truly proud to be Americans.

Sorry, but carnivals are merely trash magnets nowadays. No need to invite riff-raff into town. We have enough.

That photo of the two monuments looks pretty awesome!

I know! I'm glad we stopped the driver to take that picture!
