Frozen Waters Could Delay Boston Duck Tours Launch

The company has stopped ticket sales for its March 17 launch due to the frozen Charles River.

The lingering cold temperatures in recent weeks and the resulting frozen Charles River could delay the upcoming season for Boston Duck Tours, the Boston Herald reported Thursday

For the first time, the company has stopped ticket sales for its March 17 launch through March 20, according to the report.

Due to the frozen waters, the boats may need to operate in the lower basin of the Charles River by the Boston Museum of Science if that portion of the water thaws, according to the report.
