Charlestown Banker Named 'Community Bank Hero'

A community member and Charlestown business man has been named this year's Community Bank Hero by Banker and Tradesman magazine, the Charlestown Patriot-Bridge reported. 

Tom Coots, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for The Cooperative Bank at 201 Main St. in Charlestown, received the award for being a local banker who has gone above and beyond to provide community service in the area. He will be honored at a reception on May 29, according to the Patriot-Bridge. 

Coots is also a member of the Charlestown Historical Society and helped organize the Gardner's Regiment. He also recently served as the host of Charlestown Live.
