Police Log: Three Men Attack Woman on Main

Police log information for the week of Feb. 20-26

On Thursday, Feb. 23, officers responded to a report that three white men assaulted a woman on Main Street and stole her purse. The victim told police that, shortly after 1 a.m., the three men, around 18-20 years of age, ran up behind her while wearing tightly-drawn hoodies. One of the men commanded her to “give me the bag, [expletive].” He then punched her in the stomach, and she fell to the ground still clutching her purse. Police searched the area for her attackers, but could not find them. The victim was taking to Massachusetts General Hospital.

On Saturday, Feb. 25, officers with the city’s drug control unit spotted what they believed to be a drug deal occurring at the Bunker Hill Housing Development. Following their observation, officers followed the suspect to Concord Street, where they approached her. The officer observed a plastic bag that contained what he believed to be a crack cocaine rock. As a result, officers arrested Susan Bradshaw of 71 Kingsdale Street in Dorchester and charged her with possession of a class B substance.
