Doors Open at Olives, Crews at Work

Here's something not seen in City Square for a while -- activitiy at Olives.

Crews are at work in Olives this week. A peak inside reveals that the restaurant is still, essentially, gutted. The restaurant has been closed since May 2010, when there was a grease fire.

Last week the city's licensing board agreed to give Chef Todd English another 90 days to re-open the restaurant -- and his liquor license is at stake. This isn't the first time, however, that the board has threatened English, who assured the city of a Labor Day opening months ago.
