Boston JerkFest

Boston JerkFest™ is an outdoor/indoor family-friendly Caribbean style foodie festival that features Jamaican jerk spiced food and all things spicy and hot. Boston Jerkfest™ is Saturday, June, 28, 2014 at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, 41 Berkeley Street in Boston’s South End. The festival offers two sessions: 11am-3pm and 4-8pm. Jerk is the specialty cuisine of the Caribbean that it not only mouth-burning hot, but also includes delicious blends of aromatic spices to wake up all your senses.  It is typically served with bright tropical flavors such as pineapple, mango and sweet onions to balance out the heat

Boston Jerkfest™ will feature authentic Caribbean, international, and local spicy food for sale, including: spicy meals, jams, nuts, and desserts, as well as traditional home-made drinks from the Caribbean. Boston Jerkfest also offers live entertainment and performances for the whole family. The Rum & Brew Tasting is for 21+ festival attendees and features live music and unlimited tastings of rum, local craft beer and a variety of Caribbean themed libations.  In its inaugural year in 2013, the event was so attractive, it sold out for both sessions.
