Whole Foods Schedules Charlestown Job Fair

Interested applicants should complete applications online before attending the fair on June 25, 26 or 27.

Whole Foods Market will host a job fair for the company's new store in Charlestown next week.

The store, which will be located at 5 Austin St. in the former Johnnie's Foodmaster building in the Bunker Hill Mall, is slated to open this fall, possibly by September, following renovations.

About 150 employees are expected to be hired for the new store—about twice as many as were employed by Johnnie’s Foodmaster, according to Charlestown Whole Foods store team leader Kim Hall. The new store has both full- and part-time openings, with about three times as many full-time jobs as Johnnie's had.
