Todd English sent out an official statement denying rumors of the closure.
Rumors that Todd English's Charlestown restaurant Olives is closing are false.
After reports of the closure circulated on social media and were , English issued an official statement denying the rumor.
“In response to the April Fools Day rumor that Olives in Charlestown is closing, I want to reassure our customers and let everyone know that Olives is most certainly not closing," English said.

He continued: "We are open for business, and Chef James Klewin and our entire staff are looking forward to welcoming all our loyal customers. So, come by for a drink, dinner or plan your next special event in our newly redesigned dining room. We look forward to seeing you.'"
