Many Helped To Revive 'Mayor of Charlestown'

Congratulations to Shannon Lundin, the 17th Mayor of Charlestown for 2013-14.

We would also like to congratulate Beth Cannizzaro-Vigilante, Tony V and Jenae Robinson for their successful campaigns. Thank you to the four candidates for being pioneers and powerful examples in the community by reviving this fun tradition with us! 

We would also like to thank Debbie Lang for her contribution to the community as the longest serving Mayor of Charlestown. Most of all, thank you to the people of Charlestown for restoring this tradition in such a short amount of time and helping us raise funds for the Townie Association Inc.

Pennies for the Parade/Paint the Town

On behalf of the Townie Association Inc., we would like to thank all those who volunteered with the "Paint the Town: Red, White and Blue" and "Pennies for the Parade" campaigns for Parade Day and all those who helped and donated toward our Townie Strong Parade Float. 

Special thanks to the Townie Reunion Committee and to all the Townies who attended the reunion for sponsoring this year’s "Paint the Town" campaign. Charlestown was once again filled with revelry and was decorated so patriotically for the parade. There was so much pride in the atmosphere. Thank you to the people of Charlestown for decorating your homes and businesses!
