ReplyOur household went green by cutting out our bottles and cans thrown away and drinking beer from a keg instead. The cost is better too.

ReplyIt's silly to mandate single car garages that never get used for parking cars because their owners are able to illegally park on street in front of the garage. The BTD doesn't enforce their own parking rules by turning a blind eye to this practice.

ReplyAt least Olives gives diners something different that what they can cook in their own home. (Not a fan of their prices) If I want spaghetti and bolognese - I will make it myself. People go out to eat because they want to taste something made by a professional cook that they couldn't replicate on their own.

ReplyPaolo's is very middle of the road. There isn't anything too special about the food. The only thing keeping them in business is Charlestown's aversion to having restaurants at street level so there is little competition for the dining dollar.

ReplyDeval Patrick wants to put up open road tolling on I-93. He has publicly stated this as an option. How many drivers will that force onto Rutherford Ave? Too many than the surface option can hold? Has MassHighway / City of Boston studied this potential issue?
