ReplyI work in Boston Public Schools, I live in the same Community as my School, I live approx. 4 min from my school by Car, it took me about 15 min to get there, none of the streets were plowed. It was dangerous. We are in School until June 28th as it is what would another day be.

as usual Aileen, people just like to spew stupid things on the patch lately, I learned that from the Durty Harry mess. I hope Ruthie is Ok, and that people just let this go and let the women heal. Accidents do happen, that is why they are called accidents. Again, I hope Ruthie is doing well.

ReplyThis is not about Tom Cunha, this is about what is best for a town with 3 developments, and 4 elderly housings..and if people don't like what Tom Cunha is doing then step up to the plate and do a better job. You shouldn't complain about something if you don't plan to do something about it. "Volunteer", get on the committees. Put up or shut up, and leave the people alone that are doing something. Just a thought!

Its the people that work there that I feel bad for. Do they get to stay. I enjoy shopping at Johnnies because I see people and chit chat, yes Johnnies is a bit expensive, but that is the convienence that you are paying for, It's the people that I see Like Scotty, Maria, The cashiers, and baggers. What will happen to them? Just saying

Suzanne, please come take a look at the Park know. The City has employed 17 young teenagers too keep the park, and the pool area clean they work all day from 9-5 sweeping, weeding, and cleaning (the best a teenager can do), I guarantee that the next 6 weeks the Park will look good. After that it is up to the Parks department to help keep it clean, and for the people that are using it to use the 6 trash cans placed around the park, instead of just throwing their trash all over the place. The Park is such a great place, it takes a village to keep it clean. Come enjoy it while we are here.

On the article Cooperative Bank Robbery Foiled by Good Samaritan

Replyjust have to say, I agree with a few on here. Drugs are an addiction, this person chose to go on drugs, no-one forced him, his problem. Robbing a bank, definitely against the law, so lets' say someone in the bank had a heart attack, and died while this Illegal act was going on, and it was your Great Aunt, or Someone you knows Grandmother, whatever would you still feel bad for the Bank Robber? This kid needs help, this was obviously a desperate cry, maybe he will get help now and his family can rest knowing that he is is somewhere getting it. We also have a couple of bank robbers in our family, they did the crime, they did the time, and now they are doing fine . Let us hope the same happens to this young man. And about Jimmy Andrea, good for you! a little dangerous, but thank you for being a good citizen. Just saying!!!

Yes, I am beginning to agree with you all. Even the Bridge is boreing. I use to love to get the Charlestown Patriot and read it, have many that I have saved in the past because it had Charlestown Information in it. So sad to see the Conways "Baby" go to the toilet. And the patch, well i just read the comments!
