On the article How Would You Fix School Choice in Boston?

ReplyI think BPS should make an effort to improve schools in each zone so that they're as good as the exam schools. Parents should feel like their kids are getting a good education no matter where they end up.

ReplyAs much as I want to dislike Scott Brown, I have to admit for a member of the GOP he is pretty sane. (or maybe he only looks sane compared to Akin's comments and the new platform the GOP came up with)
That said , I won't vote for him because of a sketchy lgbt issues record. Call me a one issue voter, I don't mind.

Reply"Hmmm, The T's already broke enough, what's the loss of a few dozen fares to them?" I don't think this is the best way to get them to lower the fares. How about contacting Beacon Hill and asking them to re-distribute all that Big-Dig debt so it's not all on the MBTA to make it up?

ReplyLived across that park for nine years. Had no idea that was supposed to be a fountain in what I called "the little park." I remember when they got rid of the wadding pool for the sprinklers, and how they originally designed them with a rough surface of stones sticking out all over. Great idea guys. I wonder how many other bloody knees besides my own made them resurface it.

ReplyI never list my address as Boston. Didn't realize mail could still be delivered to me if I did! It's not like I'm going to change now though - old habits die hard.

ReplyI was impressed with the crowds. I marched for the first time in a while and noticed some empty spots, especially further down the /long/ route, but to make up for them there were often crowds three or four people deep.

Tuned in at 930 and the first few second heard a lot of bleeps. I think it'd be better if they moved it back to ten so they could get rid of the bleeps. (the censors take me out of it)
But I'm intrigued enough to catch it again. The scenery shots are nice to look at.
