With nearly 200 injured and three killed in the Boston Marathon bombings, people across New England and the nation are wondering what they can do to help. The American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts has opened a disaster operation center and is asking locals to notify loved ones of their whereabouts on its website. In light of the tragic events that occurred Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, several people around Charlestown are looking for a way to show their support. Tonight from 8-8:30 p.m. Oliva Browning owner Abby Gray and local yoga instructor Karen Fabian will hold a candelight vigil that is open to the public. "We will have candles, some singing, signs for the kids to make and will be collecting any donations that people give—all to support the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting and show support for each other here in our town," Fabian wrote in an email announcing the event.
