Boston Police Remind Residents of Safety Tips
Following another attack on a person walking alone in Charlestown, police shared this advice.
In light of a Thanksgiving weekend assault on a Charlestown woman who was walking home from the T station, Boston Police have issued the following safety tips and are encouraging people to use extra caution: It is most important to get the best description of the suspect, direction of flight of the suspect and the suspect’s actions including verbal remarks. A police report needs to be filed. Obtain an FID card for Pepper Spray at the BPD Licensing Unit (Call 617-343-4425).
