Police Reports: Man Punched, Kicked Outside Restaurant

Man Punched, Kicked Outside Restaurant Two men reportedly attacked another man after leaving a Main Street restaurant on Saturday, May 11. According to reports, the victim was sitting on a bench outside the restaurant at around 10 p.m. when two men leaving the restaurant punched and kicked him several times. The suspects also kicked out the glass doors to the business. Boston Police detectives are investigating. Police Reports: Man Caught Breaking Into Police Car

These reports were collected from the Boston Police Department and took place between April 29 and May 5 within Charlestown's District A-15. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction. Man Caught Breaking Into Police Vehicle Police arrested a man after he began rummaging through an officer’s unmarked vehicle while they conducted an investigation in the area of Spice and Cambridge streets on Sunday, May 5. Officers were investigating a case in the area when they observed the man enter one of their vehicles, which were not marked, and “begin to rummage around the interior,” according to reports. Police Reports: Man Robbed of Cell Phone at Gunpoint

These reports were collected from the Boston Police Department and took place between April 16 and 20 within Charlestown's District A-15. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction. Man Robbed of Cell Phone at Gunpoint A man was robbed of his cell phone at gunpoint on Main Street on Tuesday, April 16. The victim told police he was walking on Main Street near Green Street at around 9:30 p.m. when four men approached him. Two of the men held him from behind while the other two faced him. One of the men pointed a black handgun at him and told him to “give me your phone,” according to police reports. The man complied, and all four suspects fled toward Green Street. Yep, we need more gun control. There's no way these criminals would have been armed if law abiding citizens had more restrictions on their right to bear arms. Screen Cut in Attempted Break-in A Dunstable Street resident called police after seeing a man crouched outside her glass sliding door on Wednesday, April 10. The woman had returned home at around 7 p.m. and was inside when she discovered the individual. The resident’s barking dogs caused the man to run away in the direction of Main Street. Employees Tackle Would-Be Change Thief Two employees tackled a man after he tried to steal change from a Bunker Hill Street business on Thursday, April 4. At around 9:07 a.m., the man went behind the business’ counter and grabbed two large plastic cups full of change, according to reports. The two employees, both male, wrestled with the suspect and were able to retrieve the money. The suspect fled the scene. Police Reports: Resident Awakened by Break-in

Resident Awakened by Break-in A Main Street resident reported that someone broke into his house at around 4 a.m. on Thursday, March 14 but then fled when confronted. The resident was awakened by someone “banging and kicking at his front door,” according to police reports. At the front door, he saw that a man had gained access to the front mudroom. Police Reports: Hookah Pipe Stolen From Lounge

These reports were collected from the Boston Police Department and took place between March 5 and 10 within Charlestown's District A-15. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction. Hookah Pipe Stolen from Koullshi Lounge Police are looking for two individuals who allegedly stole a hookah water pipe from Koullshi Lounge, 83 Main St. on Tuesday, March 5. Officers responded to the business at around 1 a.m. for the report of a larceny in progress. The manager told police that two individuals had fled the establishment with one of the brass water pipes used in the restaurant. A witness was able to recall the first names of the two individuals. Charlestown Man Arrested On Charges Related to Selling Prescription Medications

On Monday police arrested Shane Michael Smith on a charge of distributing a Class B drug (Oxycodone/Percocet).

[UPDATED Thursday, March 7, 11:41 a.m.] Woburn Police arrested a Charlestown man after an investigation led them to investigate a possible drug sale at the McDonald's on Montvale Avenue in Woburn on Monday. According to a release, on Monday, March 4, members of the Woburn Police Department Drug Unit arrested a man on charges related to drug distribution. The Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force and Woburn Police Department patrol officers also assisted in the investigation. Police arrested Shane Michael Smith, 21, of 31 Tibbetts Town Way, Charlestown. Shane was charged with one count of distributing a Class B drug (Oxycodone/Percocet) and one count of possession to distribute a Class B drug (Oxycodone/Percocet).  According to the …
