The Charlestown preschool and daycare program hosted a birthday party for the late children's book author.
Bright Horizons preschool at the Scrafft Center in Charlestown recently honored the late Dr. Seuss with a birthday celebration held Tuesday, March 5 (Seuss' actual birthday was March 2). Toddlers and their parents participated in Dr. Seuss-themed crafts and story times and tried some green eggs and ham as part of the event. Bright Horizons is currently accepting registrations for preschool, for ages 2 years 9 months up through 5 years, according to Center Director Sarah Antin. Full- and half-day programs are available. Although it's not as famous as Halloween or Christmas, the Thanksgiving holiday does have its fair share of literature dedicated to it.
