Police Reports: iPad Stolen in High Street Break-in

[UPDATE Tuesday, 10:50 a.m.] These reports were collected from the Boston Police Department and took place between Nov. 26 and Dec. 1 within Charlestown's District A-15. Any charges mentioned do not indicate a conviction. iPad Stolen in High Street Break-in  An unnamed suspect was arrested Sunday, Dec. 2 after he allegedly broke into a house on High Street and stole an iPad and credit cards. Residents on High Street told police that they had returned home at around 1 a.m. and noticed a rear bedroom window had been pulled up and the window screen was on the rear deck. At around 7 a.m., police officers patrolling the area observed a man walking through backyards in the area. The suspect was stopped and was found to be in possession of the …

UPDATE: Laptop Stolen from Homeland Security

A Twitter alert states that a woman may have taken classified information from an office in Charlestown

[UPDATE Tuesday, 10:40 a.m.] An official with the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has reportedly confirmed that an investigation into this issue is ongoing, according to an article updated Tuesday morning on the Fox 25 website. Officials told Fox 25 that a theft occured from a U.S. government defense contractor in the Boston area, but they did not specify whether it was in Charlestown. No further information was available. [UPDATE Monday, 1:53 p.m.] Terel Harris, communications director with Massachusetts' Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, said he had received several calls about an incident Monday in Charlestown but was unaware of a current investigation involving his office.
