VIDEO: Nurses Join Protest in Boston
Hundreds of nurses marched in Dewey Square alongside students and protesters participating in Occupy Boston, a local movement inspired by the ongoing protests on Wall Street.
Hundreds of nurses joined the Occupy Boston rally at Dewey Square Wednesday afternoon, as well as activist and author Cornel West. Student walk-outs from colleges and universities across the country were also planned today. Some students in Boston marched through the Financial District before also joining the rally at Dewey Square. The local group has held several protests recently in Boston, including a small gathering on Beacon Hill.
