City Square to Get $30k Worth of Improvements
The Friends of City Square Park have partnered with the Department of Conservation and Recreation to raise matching funds for the work.
The Friends of City Square have contributed $10,000 and won matching funds to support improvements and maintainance at the park this summer. The Friends of City Square Park partnered with the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Partnerships Matching Funds Program. The matching grant program added $20,000 from the DCR for a total of $30,000 for park renovation and upgrades. Work will include cleaning and fortifying granite at the park, new plantings and pruning.
