Whether you've got company coming, want some sweet stocking stuffers or just need to grab a few staples, it's not as easy anymore as walking down to Johnnie's Foodmaster, now that the store is closed while it is being renovated into a Whole Foods. Luckily, several supermarket companies are offering free transportation to their stores in nearby towns. I took the shuttle to Stop & Shop on Friday and there is some confusion as to where they pick up & drop off. I waited on West School St and Main St, but the shuttle was not there, so I walked down to the mall and there ist was.
