UPDATE: Laptop Stolen from Homeland Security

A Twitter alert states that a woman may have taken classified information from an office in Charlestown

[UPDATE Tuesday, 10:40 a.m.] An official with the U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has reportedly confirmed that an investigation into this issue is ongoing, according to an article updated Tuesday morning on the Fox 25 website. Officials told Fox 25 that a theft occured from a U.S. government defense contractor in the Boston area, but they did not specify whether it was in Charlestown. No further information was available. [UPDATE Monday, 1:53 p.m.] Terel Harris, communications director with Massachusetts' Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, said he had received several calls about an incident Monday in Charlestown but was unaware of a current investigation involving his office. Paul Revere Park Assault Victim Dies, Investigation Continues

The homeless man assaulted Monday night or Tuesday morning passed away Friday night, confirms district attorney's office.

A homeless man found beaten and lying in Paul Revere Park Tuesday has died. A spokesman at Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley’s office confirmed the victim died sometime Friday night. Conley’s office declined to identify the victim. No cause of death has yet been determined. The office will continue to investigate the death. Conley and Massachusetts State Police have asked for the public's assistance in the case, asking anyone who saw anything unusual in the park between Monday and Tuesday to call 617-727-8817 and speak to detectives. Did You See an Assault at Paul Revere Park?

State police and the district attorney's office need the public's help in catching the person who beat a homeless man Monday night at Paul Revere Park.

The Massachusetts State Police and District Attorney Dan Conley's office need the public's help in finding the culprit in Monday's assault at Paul Revere Park. According to a release from Conley's office, a homelss man was assaulted on the fishing piere in the park Monday afternoon. State troopers found the 45-year-old man, who had a head injury. He was taken to Mass General Hostpial for treatment. It appeared the man had been assaulted sometime Sunday evening and left alone in the park until the next afternoon. Officers put a special plea to dog walkers and fisherman. Both groups are heavy users of the park. UPDATED: Stolen Stoneham Car Fished Out of Water [VIDEO]

Vehicle entered the water some time overnight. No passengers inside.

Boston police and fire responded to 50 Terminal St. in Charlestown this morning after a passerby around 9 a.m. noticed a car in the water. Fire Chief Steve Dunbar said that a dive team has checked the vehicle and found it empty. The car must have come down the ramp "with some force," he said, but may have floated further away from the ramp overnight. One tow truck tried to remove the vehicle, Dunbar said, but wasn't large enough to do the job. A larger tow truck arrived around 10 a.m. and pulled the Nissan Altima out of the water around 10:30 a.m. The chief also found a spent shotgun shell at the scene. At 8:37 a.m. Tuesday, Stoneham Police received a report of a 2005 white Nissan Ultima that was stolen from 122 Main St., according to Lt. …
