1. Bike meeting coming up. At 7:00 PM on Wednesday June 18th in the Community Room of the Mary Colbert Apartments, located at the rear of 20 Devens Street, the Basic Services Committee of the Charlestown Neighborhood Council will hold a public hearing on the City of Boston's proposal to install bicycle lanes between Thompson Square and City Square along Main and Warren Streets. Keep the trees? Why is this even a question? Yes you should keep the trees! Is there a bug infestation going on? Anybody else notice all the recently removed trees and the stumps left in their place? Are they not going to replace them? Not a good look, that's for sure. Or is this a move to avoid downed wires during storms? 10am "public hearing"? That's convenient.   more ›
