Today is Wednesday, Nov. 10. Here are three things you need to know today. 1. Harvest on Vine needs your help The emergency food pantry managed by the St. Mary-St. Catherine Parish is soliciting donations for its Thanksgiving food drive. From now until Nov. 20, they could use donations of food, money or your time. Visit their web site for more info on how to get involved. At the very least, you can stop by the Navy Yard Bistro on Sunday, for a Harvest on Vine benefit dinner. 2. Take in a little art The group photography show at Zume's Coffee House is running for just a couple more weeks. Stop by, grab a cup and spend a few minutes soaking in the work of six area artists. Move over Bristol Palin Tonight Charlestown's own pint-sized Fred Astaire will be performing on CBS' Dancing with the Stars at 8 p.m. Tyler Goldman will be cutting a rug alongside Sophia Latessa of Brookline, his dance partner of two years. 3 Things You Need to Know Today

If you have a private jet, today might be a good day to use it.

It is Monday, Nov. 8. Here are three things you need to know today. 1. Don't Leave Charlestown. No, really. At least not in a car. Construction is officially underway on the Craigie Drawbridge today, which means there will be no inbound traffic on Route 28. Where will all the cars go? On Rutherford Avenue, of course. Things could get ugly on the Gilmore Bridge. To make matters worse, work is also underway on the other side of town. Starting today, inbound traffic on the Alford Street Bridge will be reduced to one lane. Later this week, outbound traffic will be cut back too. Yikes.
