Formerly known as the Rutherford/Union Playground, in 2011 this park was re-dedicated in the name of Peter Looney, a lifelong Townie who worked tirelessly for the neighborhood.
The park is located just behind the neighborhood's ice skating rink and has entry points on Austin and Union Streets. It's popular for toddlers and small children. There are tennis courts also located next the playground.
