The Charlestown Community Center has something to offer for neighborhood residents of all ages. The center's programs run the gamut from sports clinics to playgroups for parents who speak English as a second language to adult learning courses and day-camps during the summer. All of the Community Center's programs are free or low-cost. The center is directed by Beth Burton.

In addition to its own programming, the center manages the outdoor Clougherty Pool during the summer months, as well as a year-round indoor pool. It also has regular access to Charlestown High School gymnasium and athletic field.

The Community Center is part of the Boston Centers for Youth and Families.
