While the exterior of the Charlestown library seems cold with its concrete structure, inside it's bright, charmingly crowded and busy. The library boasts an extensive collection of books on local history as well as a children and young adult area that has played host to many activities, including a performance by the band Harry and The Potters. The library also hosts a monthly book discussion group and talks by authors. Librarian Maureen Marx has worked there for more than 30 years.
