Spaulding Rehab in Charlestown to Host Health Promotion, Injury Prevention Fair

Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown will hold a free Health Promotion and Injury Prevention Fair later this month in an effort to spread safety awareness to area residents. 

The fair will run from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, rain or shine at the hospital, 300 First Ave. in Charlestown. 

The fair will offer resources for children, teens, adults and seniors, and will include exhibits focusing on fire and burn prevention, stroke risk assessment and bike and water safety.

Meanwhile, those who attend with children will be able to take part in a variety of family-related activities, including a visit with Sparky the Fire Dog, a Teddy Bear clinic, face painting and information on dog bite prevention, among others.
