Charlestown's Townie Association to "Paint the Town" Red, White and Blue

Residents will gather to decorate the neighborhood on Saturday, June 14.

The Townie Association is looking for neighbors in Charlestown and help "Paint the Town" red, white and blue for the upcoming Bunker Hill Day Parade

The third-annual effort is held in honor of the Battle of Bunker Hill and aligned in celebration of Bunker Hill Day Parade on June 17. A post-parade party is also planned for Saturday, June 21.

Residents and business owners in Charlestown are encouraged to adorn their homes or businesses with patriotic decorations during parade week next week.

The Townie Association will gather at Mishawum Hall, 95 Dunstable St. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 to blow up 1,400 balloons and hand-make 700 bows to put along light poles along the parade route.
