A free meal will be served on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28 from 11:30 a.m. until about 1 p.m. at the J.W. Conway Bunker Hill Post 26 American Legion headquarters, 23 Adams St. The annual Thanksgiving dinner has been a Charlestown tradition for more than 25 years and has been organized for the past 20 years by Bob and Carol Sweeney.

The Afterschool Game Club will be held Monday, November 25, from 2:30 p.m. to – 5:30 p.m. at the Charlestown Branch of the Boston Public Library, 179 Main Street, Charlestown, MA 02129. The library is the perfect place to go after school. On Mondays so join the staff for board and card games.
