St. John School Welcomes our New (and Returning) Students!

This past Sunday the Welcome Committee, our Principal, Karen McLaughlin, our Director of Advancement, Lisa Santarpio and our teachers, Miss Marylou, Ms. Daniella, Ms. Warner and Ms. Sviokla hosted a Welcome Reception for all of our new and returning K3-K5 St. John School students.  This was our annual summer welcome event with a turnout of over 150 family members as well as our faculty and staff.

It was a great opportunity for our students to meet new friends as well as their teachers for the upcoming school year and to catch up with those friends we met last year.

The students had a great time feasting on pizza, ice cream and being entertained by a wonderful entertainer, The Magic of David Hall.  The families and students were very excited to be able to talk with their teachers and Mrs. McLaughlin.  Our Welcome Committee, teachers and existing parents offered our new parents and students a wealth of information about St. John School from their perspective and helped give them an idea of what they can look forward to in the upcoming school year.

Noted Principal, Karen McLaughlin, “It was an honor to meet the new students and families of St. John School.  We look forward to getting to know all of our incoming students and having them be an active part of the SJS family.”  We are excited to see everyone in September!
