Mangia, Mangia! St. John School Hosts Spaghetti Dinner

St. John School held our first annual Back to School Spaghetti Dinner yesterday in our school’s cafeteria.  Our families enjoyed getting to know some of our new friends and catching up with some of our old friends.

During the spaghetti dinner, The Hanover Pops Choir entertained our families with an amazing array of music and the children were thrilled to get their faces painted.

Our families dined great food donated by Kelly’s Square Pub in East Boston and Mike’s Pastry in the North End.  We also thank MSA Mortgage and Willis of Massachusetts and La Dolce Vita for their donation.

“St. John School would like to thank the many members of our community who donated to our spaghetti dinner,” stated Principal, Karen McLaughlin.  “Your generosity to our children is amazing and we couldn’t have had such a great event without your support!”

Our spaghetti dinner will be an annual event.   Thank you to all the families who came out and supported our school!   We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
