Three Townie Ballers College Bound on a Full Ride

Seniors Orriols, Robinson and Maduegbunam will receive full scholarships.

It will be a proud moment for Charlestown High School Boys' Basketball Head Coach Edson Cardoso as three of his graduated senior players will received full basketball scholarships to attend college at a signing ceremony at Charlestown High today.

Townie's Omar Orriols, Alijiah Robinson and Akosa Maduegbunam will sign commitment letters today, Friday, Aug. 30 at 12:30 p.m. at the High School gym.

• Orriols (12ppg, 7RPG, 3 APG) will be playing for Rick Harris at the Community College of Rhode Island,

•Robinson (15ppg, 12 RPG, 4 BPG) will be heading down south to attend Benedict College in South Carolina, and 

• Maduegbunam (19ppg, 8 RPG, 3 APG) will attend Long Island University-Post in Brookville, New York. He had previously committed to Penn State University.
