Charlestown Town Track Club Opens Spring, Summer Registration

Charlestown's Town Track Club has announced that it has opened registration for the Spring and Summer season, according to the Charlestown Patriot-Bridge. 

For more information and to register, visit www.towntrackclub.org. The registration deadline for a $55 fee is March 30, after which those interested will need to pay $85; the final schedule is expected to be released in the coming weeks, according to the report. 

The Charlestown-based running club, founded in 2012, is open to participants of all ages and levels. This year, the club will hold two seasons, both of which participants are welcome to join, according to the Patriot-Bridge.

"The focus of the club is running as a lifelong pursuit, team competition, sportsmanship and increasing personal fitness," according to the club's website. "Town Track supports individual runners with weekly group runs, individualized training plans and coaching. Members participate in various individual and team competitions, including the Boston Marathon and the Reach the Beach relay, as well as USATF Track & Field and Cross Country events throughout the year."
