Needham Golfer Wins Individual Championship [UPDATE]

The golf team finished fifth, while boys and girls soccer teams both advanced in the tournament.

[UPDATE Thursday 1:35 p.m.]

Thursday's DI South Semi-Final soccer games have been postponed to Friday, Nov. 9.

The No. 2 NHS girls soccer team will play No. 6 Oliver Ames on Friday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Taunton High School.

The No. 1 NHS boys soccer team will play No. 4 Dartmouth on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Taunton High School.

The NHS Student Fan Bus will now leave at 4:30 p.m. on Friday for Taunton. All students riding the bus will receive a free Launch Pad T-shirt.

Today's DI South Semi-Final Soccer Games have been postponed to a time and date TBA.

Congratulations to Needham High School junior Jake Shuman, who on Monday, Nov. 5 won the Division I Individual Golf State Championship at Norton Country Club.  

Needham finished fifth overall in the team tournament.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, No. 2 girls soccer defeated North Attleboro 2-1 in overtime and will advance to the DI South Semi-Final vs. No. 6 Oliver Ames on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.at Bridgewater-Raynham.

The No. 1 boys soccer team defeated Marshfield 3-0 on Tuesday night, advancing to the DI South Semi-Final. They will play No. 4 Dartmouth on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bridgewater-Raynham.

NHS student fan buses will leave for the double-header from outside of the B Gym on Thursday at 3:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please sign up at the Athletic Office by the end of lunch on Thursday. All students riding the fan buses will receive a free Launch Pad T-Shirt.
