Charlestown Student Chorus Performs at Copley Place

Singers from Warren-Prescott Elementary School performed a holiday medley.

On Thursday, Dec. 20, students in grades 3-8 from the Warren-Prescott School Chorus in Charlestown performed a holiday medley at Copley Place as part of the Boston Public Schools Arts Expansion initiative in concert with the i Create campaign. Throughout the month of December Copley Place hosted Boston Public Schools as they presented music and dance performances to help promote the i Create campaign.

The i Create campaign is about the importance and role that arts can and should play in the life of students and an urban school system. Boston Public Schools (BPS) Arts Expansion is accelerating the expansion and coordination of arts learning opportunities across the school district. The overriding goal is to increase access, equity and quality of arts learning for all students. The i Create campaign is aimed at ensuring BPS students, their families and the broader community is aware of the increase in arts education in the schools.
