As the clock ticked down, though, Brockton tied the score and forced the game into overtime. The boxers continued that surge and built a five-point lead—too much for the Townies to overcome.

Brockton now advances to the state title game. They will play the winner of St. John’s Shrewsbury and Springfield Central who play Saturday at the DCU Center in Worcester.
