Boston Public Schools Closed Wednesday
A Snow Emergency goes into effect as of 11 p.m. Tuesday.
All schools within the Boston Public School system will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 5, according to a BPS announcement Tuesday.
School buses will not be running, according to the announcement. Administrative offices, including BPS Welcome Centers, the Newcomers Assessment Center, Campbell Resource Center and 26 Court Street will be open and fully staffed Wednesday.
The Boston School Committee is still scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, but parents and students are asked check for updates around midday.

Other school-related updates for Wednesday:
- The Boston Center for Youth and Families will open community centers from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday for children ages 7 and older. Parents/guardians will need to fill out a short intake form at drop-off. Find a location near you here.
