Boston Mayor Martin Walsh is looking to make some changes to the city's rental housing inspection ordinance, WHDH reported this weekend.

Walsh reportedly told inspectors to place their focus on landlords who may have a history of code violations or compliance-related issues, according to WHDH.

Walsh plans to submit an amendment on Monday that would waive registration fees of rental units and would provide a hardship waiver on units of which the owner is a senior citizen, according to the report.
