Here's how to voice your concerns or support in person or by letter.

The Charlestown Neighborhood Council has had on the matter of a franchise owner . Now, the Boston Licensing Board gets its say.

Rob Rivard, the franchise owner, and his , Bill Mohan will present their case for a common victualler license to the Licensing Board on Wednesday, July 11. The hearing starts at 10 a.m. in room 809a at City Hall, but it’s probably not worth arriving at that time. According to the licensing board, Domino’s is currently scheduled as the eighth matter to go before the board that day.

If you can’t make it to the meeting, you can communicate your concern (or support) for the matter via email at LicensingBoard@cityofboston.gov or by fax at (617) 635-4742.

I have been to a few Licensing Board hearings and your position on the schedule doesn't mean a whole lot. All you need is a coup[e of requests for postponements, someone shot down because they are not prepared, or a no-show, and number eight is presenting their case at 10:45. I emailed them my position. I would suggest that anyone who cares about this matter do the same. Twenty or thirty emails carries the same weight as the same number of people in attendance.

The Domino's hearing actually started some time around 10:20, which caught me by surprise.

Matt, Since they're not ruling until tomorrow, is it still worthwhile to send a email to the board at the address you cited above? Thanks.

I just called the licensing board. The man who answered the phone said that, yes, the board would consider emails received today. But you probably want to act fast.
