Boston Mayor to Kick Off Coffee Hour Series at Doherty Park in Charlestown

Residents will have a chance to chat with the mayor one-on-one.

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will kick off the city's 16th annual neighborhood coffee hours series in Charlestown this month.

The coffee hour, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, will be held rain or shine on Monday, May 12 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Charlestown's Doherty Park, 349 Bunker Hill St., according to an announcement from Boston City Hall on Friday

The series is meant to provide residents an opportunity to speak directly with the mayor about open space and other neighborhood-related needs and issues. Those who attend the one-on-one chats will receive coffee and breakfast, courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts, as well as fresh fruit from Whole Foods Market.
