Thief Takes Items From Cruiser, Lands in Back of One

These reports were submitted from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

09/02/12—Break-in to a non-residence

About 3 a.m., officers responded to Corey Street to remove a drunk from an apartment in the building. While in the process of the investigation, officers were made aware by multiple witnesses that an individual had entered the Boston Police cruisers parked outside and removed numerous items. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect a short distance away. Items were recovered and the suspect was taken into custody

08/28/12—Affray

Officers responded to a call for a fight outside on Medford Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke to both parties involved who stated a physical altercation had taken place. Neither party would elaborated further. Complaints may be sought in Charlestown court.

08/30/12—Investigate property

About 5 a.m., officers responded to Lawrence Street in regards to a reported break-in. The victim stated she woke up to the sound of metal on metal. She then heard male voices and the sound of her kitchen door opening, then people running through her yard. Officers did not observe any damage to the kitchen door nor were any suspects located.

08/30/12—v.a.l.

As a result of a traffic stop on Medford Street, an individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

08/30/12—Larceny – bicycle

Victim on First Ave reports sometime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., someone entered the level two parking area and stole his Giant brand men’s black mountain bike. The crime may have been caught on security cameras.
