Around 11:41 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, officers responded to the where a security guard reported that his life had been threatened.
The guard said that he saw a customer put a candy bar in his pocket. When the security guard asked the customer for his receipt, the guard told police, the customer became irate. When the guard followed the customer outside, a woman got out of a car and spat on the guard.
“The female threatened to follow [the security guard] after he got off work,” a police report said, to “put a bullet in his brain.”
“This is Charlestown, b—, we will come after you,” she said according to the guard.
Officers observed what they believed to be spit all over the guard’s jacket and said they planned to summons one of the suspects (whose name was redacted from the report) on charges of threats to commit a crime.
