Tewksbury Police are asking the public for their assistance in tracking town a truck involved in a property damage hit and run accident on Friday afternoon.
A Code Red Alert was sent to residents regarding the accident, which took place at 73 Patten Road, just after 2 p.m.
According to the police report, a blue pickup truck towing a yellow wood chipper took out an entire chain link fence along a piece of property.
Any residents who can help to identify the vehicle or the driver or who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Tewksbury Police at 978-640-4381.
Methuen woman faces multiple charges
A Methuen woman, already wanted by police, is facing a myriad of charges after being caught sitting in a stolen car in the Motel 6 parking lot.
A Tewksbury Police officer spotted the vehicle parked in the lot on Thursday, Jan. 10, just after 8 p.m. reported and it as suspicious. A check of the license plate showed that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Dracut.
The driver was identified as Clara Y. Luciano, 26, 98 Boston St., Methuen. A check of her record indicated she had three outstanding warrants. The Tewksbury officer also found drugs in her possession.
In addition to the warrants, Luciano is charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a Class B substance, two counts of possession of a Class E substance and giving a false name to a police officer.
Michael A Bertrand, 50, 7 Suffolk Court, Lowell, was arrested on Jan. 11 on a warrant.
Barbara A. Timmins, 32, 307 Andover St., Billerica, was arrested on Jan. 10 on a warrant.
On Thursday, Jan. 10, at 4:35 p.m., a Patriot Road resident reported that an oil company delivered oil to their address in error and was now demanding that they pay for it. The caller was informed this is a civil matter.
On Thursday, Jan. 10, at 5:02 p.m., a man walked into the Police Headquarters and reported that a classmate of his niece's at the Ryan School had taken her cell phone that he had bought for her. An officer spoke to the man and a report was filed.
