Police Reports: Man Attempts to Rob Women with Knife

Man Attempts to Rob Women with Knife

Boston Police were called to the First Avenue area at around 8 p.m. on Monday, July 9 for the report of a person with a knife.

When police arrived, they spoke with two female victims who said that they were walking down First Avenue when a man approached them. The women also noticed that three men were across the street at the time of the incident. The first man allegedly pulled out a knife and tried to rob the women.

One of the women fell and dropped her phone, which the suspect allegedly picked up before leaving the scene, according to reports.

Police located the three men who were across the street and, after conducting an investigation, located the suspect with the knife in the Bunker Hill housing development. They arrested the man.

‘No Trespass’ Violation on Dunstable Street

Police arrested an individual in the Dunstable Street area on Monday, July 9 for violating a no trespass order.

Drug Arrest on Monument Street

An individual in the Monument Street area was arrested on Friday, July 12 for possession of a Class B substance, the result of a drug investigation.

Package Stolen from Doorstep

A Main Street resident reported that someone stole a package from her doorstep on Friday, July 12. A UPS delivery person reportedly left the package there, but it was gone when the woman returned home.

Man Threatens Woman with Handgun

A man allegedly punched a woman in the face and threatened her with a handgun before stealing her cell phone and cash on Sunday, July 14.

According to reports, a friend introduced the woman to the man at about 6 a.m. on O’Reilly Way. While they talked, the man allegedly became “very aggressive in his advances,” which the woman refused. That’s when he allegedly punched her and brandished a black handgun.

Police are investigating.

Bike Stolen on Walker Street

A Walker Street resident reported that someone stole his black Canondale bike from outside his home on Saturday, July 13. The bike was locked up to a pole in front of the owner’s home, and when he returned home the bike was gone.

Bikes Stolen on Monument Street

A person on Monument Street reported that two bikes were stolen on Sunday, July 14. A red trek Mongoose and a green trek Mongoose bike were stolen from the corner of Monument and Tremont streets.
