Oxy-Morons Director Arrested in NH

John Hickey arraigned Tuesday in Manchester.

John Hickey, one of the men behind the Charlestown-based drug film Oxy-Morons, has been arrested and arraigned in New Hampshire.

The Manchester Union-Leader reported this week that a detail officer recognized Hickey at Manchester's Club Drynk Friday and took him into custody.

Hickey was wanted in New Hampshire on charges relating to an accusation that he stole a woman's pistol.

The woman told police in March, the Union Leader reported, that Hickey, an acquantance, took her .38 caliber pistol from her purse after they met at Manchester's Club Realm.

Following Hickey's arrest last week, the Union-Leader reported, police discovered that Hickey had a Massachusetts warrant for charges of attempted murder, assault and battery, larceny and making threats out of Beverly, Mass. The charges relate to a January dispute during which Hickey was identified as a suspect by an alias.
